Training & Demonstration – Orchid Show 2015
The Training & Demonstration sessions scheduled during the orchid show 2015 is conducted with the objective of introducing orchid growing to the beginner along with some of the specific requirements of popular genera under cultivation in India. This will be imparted through lecture, demo and ‘hands on’ about various cultural aspects.

1. Introducing epiphytes and Terrestrials – in general
2. Introducing Monopodials and Sympodials – growth habit
3. Light and Temperature requirement
4. Water and Humidity
5. Pots and potting media
6. Aeration
7. Propagation
8. Nutrition
9. Pest & disease management
